Team Spotlight Meet Julia, Client Manager in New York!

This week, we're spotlighting Julia, our newest member of the Cambridge Coaching administrative team! Let's get started with the basics, Julia. Where are you from? I grew up in Beijing. As a kid, I remember lots of bicycles, lots of spitting, and lots of cha siu bao (my all-time favorite pork dumplings). What did you decide to study, and why? I studied mostly psychology and philosophy because I couldn't get enough of either subject. I chose to attend Sarah Lawrence College because they had very few academic requirements then, meaning I could take as many psych classes as I wanted to at once. Given the choice of anyone in the world, living or dead, which 3 people would you invite to your dinner party? What do you imagine you'd talk about? I would invite George Carlin, Larry David, and John Oliver so we could talk about anything and everything, and laugh while doing it. What’s something you’ve changed your mind about? Leafy greens. They're delicious, and should be included in dishes. Describe your perfect weekend morning. My perfect weekend morning involves daydreaming and cooking. Given the choice of anyone in the world, living or dead, which 3 people would you invite to your dinner party? What do you imagine you'd talk about? Atul Gawande, Ina Garten, and LeBron James. I hope we'd have a conversation far ranging and fun, and cover topics as varied as chocolate soufflà ©s, universal healthcare plans, and Dwayne Wade's trade to the Cavs. Describe your perfect weekend morning. Wake up early, go for a long walk, and have an incredible brunch with someone I care about, hopefully including both maple syrup and whipped cream. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received or given? The best gift I ever received was a large, netted trampoline on my eighth birthday. I bet I spent a good third of my childhood on there. Share 1 weird fact with us about yourself.
